Eye Candy Trends
Sep 17, 2015
Us Filthy gals love all things that are trending, so we thought we would share 5 Fall eye makeup trends that you need to be embracing right now via Instagram.
1. Feathery Brows
Overly filled brows have moved on toward the “feather brow,” seen at shows like Burberry, Elie Saab, and Giambattista Valli. The term refers to lightly filled arches that are brushed up and a bit wild – yet still groomed-looking. To copy the look, use quick and tiny strokes of a brow pencil to mimic brow hairs. Brush your brows up at the start and outward as you move toward the tail.

2. Bronze Diffused Eye Shadow
It’s the new smoky eye and calls for one shade only: bronze. To be on trend like the models at DVF, Nicole Miller, Tom Ford, and Cushnie et Ochs, apply it by blending the color seamlessly from the lash line up toward your brow, leaving no harsh lines at the crease of your eye. We’re really loving Urban Decay colors like Lucky and Brokedown from the Vice Palette 3.

3. Graphic Liner
Step out of your usual cat-eye box and go for a liner that’s a bit edgier and fun, from a double-winged liner that was seen at Mugler to ultra-thick cat-eye at Chanel.

4. Metallic Accents
Spice up your typical shadow look with a touch of metallic, similar to what was seen at Tadashi Shoji, Mara Hoffman, and Zac Posen.

5. Lush Lashes
Whether you can grow your own set of stunning lashes or you need to turn to a false set, lashes are in in a major way this season as seen at shows such as Rachel Zoe and Giambattista Valli.
