This vintage suede fringe vest is a unique piece of Inuit art, made in Saint-Tite, Quebec by Indien Art Eskimo, a brand known for handmade artisan items, mainly dolls and figurines, from the 1940s-60s.
Made from genuine suede, it has handpainted geometric designs on the front and back, braided side stitching, beaded drawstring ties, and fringe along the hem. The vest is unlined and open-front, giving it a relaxed and classic Western fit. Wear it to festivals, as a collector’s piece, or to add a bit of vintage fringe flair to your wardrobe.
