Berries & Bark
Dec 01, 2015
Designer Sarah Smith at Modern Flower Child is experimenting with embedding all manner of plantlife into her handmade resin bracelets. Dried ferns, flowers, bark, and even peacock feathers are frozen in time inside these clear time capsules, a process that takes up to three weeks from design to pouring resin, curing, and shaping the final piece.
Each piece of handmade artisan jewelry is an original, one of a kind design and is a tribute to the beautiful things nature offers us.

What type of fauna and flora do you think Modern Flower Child’s designs should experiment with next? We’d love to see a Native woodland Ontario mix with ferns, foxglove and Geranium. Let us know what floral and fauna you’d like to wear in the comments below!
